As Bison Run continues to grow, we want to keep residents informed about projects that help support our community’s infrastructure. An upcoming project involves the relocation of a cell tower.
Currently, an active cell tower is located at Lot 19, Block 5 – #32 Famous Five Walk. This existing cell tower will be deactivated by December 31, 2026 and fully removed by July 31, 2027.
In anticipation of this transition, construction of a new cell tower will begin next week. The new tower will be installed on a multi-family parcel at Lot 2, Block 1, along Pathfinder Trail. The new tower will feature a monopole design with an unobtrusive appearance within the neighbourhood. While the exact timeline for completion is still being finalized, construction is expected to be finished by late 2025 or early 2026. Once the new tower is complete, both towers will be operational for a period of time before the original one is removed.
